Château Hermitage de Combas is a 75-hectare estate in the heart of Hérault’s vineyards between Béziers and Montpellier, just 15 km from Pézenas. This wedding chateau near Montpellier traces its origins to 1260 and was transformed in 1826 by the Marquis and Marquise de Thézan-Saint Géniès with two towers, a chapel, and grand interiors. In 2020, entrepreneur Jean-Marc Bardou acquired and restored the property, developing it as a destination for events and tourism.
The estate now offers a purpose-built 500m² Orangerie reception hall, extensive outdoor spaces, and a ceremony-ready Mediterranean garden. Surrounded by ancient olive trees, the landscaped park and terraces accommodate both indoor and al fresco celebrations. The venue’s modular layout and wide guest capacity make it well suited for large-scale weddings. The estate offers 44 four and five-star rated accommodations for up to 140 guests, available across several distinct areas. Within the château itself are two private apartments, including a bridal suite and a preparation suite. Above the Orangerie, ten Loges flats overlook the gardens and accommodate 2 to 4 guests each.
Adjacent is La Maison, an 8-person guest house with its own private pool. The Chai building houses 16 studio apartments, while Le Hameau offers 14 additional flats sleeping between 2 and 6 guests, some featuring private terraces and jacuzzis. All units are fully equipped with modern conveniences.

A security guard is included for 10 hours during the event, and post-event cleaning of the Orangerie is also covered in the main wedding package.
From Paris: The fastest route is via high-speed train to Béziers station (approximately 3 hours 50 minutes), followed by a 20-minute car transfer to the château. Alternatively, flights from Paris to Béziers Cap d’Agde Airport take approximately 1 hour 15 minutes, with a 13km drive from the terminal to the estate.
From London: The most efficient travel option is a direct flight to Béziers Cap d’Agde Airport, with flight durations averaging 1 hour 50 minutes. The château is just a 15-minute drive from the airport. Alternatively, Eurostar travellers can connect to high-speed trains to Montpellier, then transfer via car (approximately 1 hour) to the venue.
