The Venue History

1904 · Early 20th century chateau

Château du Doux was built in 1904 for entertaining foreign dignitaries, to the design of Jean-Louis Pascal, one of the leading French architects of his day. The Young family first saw the château in 2008, fell for it and the Dordogne Valley, and have since renovated it into a destination wedding venue, a restoration filmed across several series of Channel 4's Escape to the Château DIY and Château DIY.
