About the Venue

Manoir Beaulieu is a private wedding venue located in the picturesque village of Salles-Lavalette, in southwest France. Originally built in the late 18th century, the property has been extensively restored while preserving its historic charm. Surrounded by rolling countryside, the manor offers a relaxed and intimate setting for weddings, hosting only a select number of events each year to ensure a truly personalized experience.

The venue provides multiple ceremony and reception spaces, from a hidden garden for welcome drinks to an open-air courtyard for dining beneath the stars. A renovated barn offers a stylish space for dancing and a backup option for warm or rainy weather. The on-site catering team specializes in relaxed, sharing-style feasts, with all glassware, crockery, and staff included. With a midnight curfew and no corkage fees, couples can craft a wedding experience tailored to their vision, making lasting memories with their guests.

The manor house accommodates up to 12 guests across five uniquely styled bedrooms, each blending contemporary comfort with original architectural features. Room options include super king and king-sized beds, with interconnecting options for families. Three bathrooms, including one en-suite, ensure convenience, while the manor’s large kitchen and dining areas provide additional gathering spaces. Guests can unwind in the cozy lounge, browse the library, or enjoy outdoor seating with scenic countryside views.

Amenities include a private 12x6m swimming pool, a wood-fired pizza oven, and both indoor and outdoor dining areas. The adjoining barn serves as an elegant reception space, equipped with bars, lighting, and ample seating. For entertainment, guests can enjoy table tennis, petanque, and a poolside aperitif hour. The venue’s trusted supplier list provides access to florists, musicians, and additional guest accommodation, while a dedicated WhatsApp group ensures seamless planning from booking to the wedding day.

Getting there

From Paris: Guests can take the TGV train to Montmoreau, which is just a 10-minute drive from the venue. Alternatively, flights are available to Bergerac Airport (1hr 20min), Bordeaux Airport (1hr 40min), Limoges Airport (1hr 45min), Brive-Vallée de la Dordogne Airport (1hr 45min), or Toulouse Airport (3hr 15min).

From London: For guests traveling from London, the Eurostar and TGV provide a convenient train route via Paris to Montmoreau. Direct flights are also available from London to Bergerac, Bordeaux, Limoges, and Toulouse, with car rental options for the onward journey.
