About the Venue

Château de Roussillon, a majestic medieval castle dating back to the 11th century, is a listed monument of France, having once hosted King Louis XIII. Located in the picturesque Quercy region, the château sits atop a forest-covered hill, offering breathtaking views of the Lot Valley. Just ten minutes from Cahors, the château is conveniently situated for exploring nearby historic villages, markets, and local Malbec vineyards. The venue is perfect for weddings, providing a rustic and romantic setting with exclusive use of the entire property, including reception rooms, bedrooms, and courtyards. Its historical significance and unique atmosphere make it an ideal location for a memorable celebration.

Accommodation & Amenities

Accommodation: Château de Roussillon offers four unique apartments, accommodating up to 20 guests. "La Chambre De Monsieur" is a spacious studio with a queen-size bed and a double sofa bed. "La Tour Des Écuries" features a private library apartment with beds on two floors. "La Tour De La Chapelle" boasts a vaulted bedroom with multiple sleeping arrangements. "La Tour De La Barbacane" spans four floors, providing ample space for larger groups. Each apartment includes modern comforts like private kitchens and bathrooms, ensuring a luxurious stay within the medieval walls.

Amenities: The château's amenities cater to every need, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Guests can enjoy the fully equipped catering kitchen with large range ovens, multiple fridges, and a freezer. The medieval banquet hall seats up to 120 guests and includes tables, chairs, and a kitchen. Two large vaulted cellars provide versatile spaces for ceremonies, dancing, or children's activities. Heating options include central heating, wood burners, and electric radiators. Each apartment is equipped with a washing machine, dishwasher, and television. Additionally, Wi-Fi covers "La Chambre De Monsieur," the banquet hall, and "La Tour De La Barbacane."

Getting there

From Paris: Fly from Paris Orly to Toulouse-Blagnac Airport (about 1.5 hours). Rent a car or take a taxi from Toulouse to Saint-Pierre-la-Feuille (about 1.5 hours).

From London: Guests traveling from London can take a direct flight to Toulouse or Brive-la-Gaillarde airports, followed by a 1.5 to 2-hour drive to Château de Roussillon. Alternatively, the Eurostar to Paris and a TGV train at Gare Montparnasse to Cahors offers a scenic route through the French countryside.
