Set in the Cévennes region of Provence, Domaine du Rey is an entire hamlet available for exclusive hire. Located in the Gard department, it is surrounded by 69 hectares of unspoiled natural parkland, creating a secluded and peaceful setting for destination weddings. The estate comprises four traditional Mas—authentic local stone houses typical of the Cévennes—offering accommodation and event spaces with rustic character. There are no neighbouring properties, ensuring a completely private and uninterrupted experience. Domaine du Rey provides an ideal canvas for a multi-day celebration, with the serenity of the surrounding landscape offering a calming counterbalance to the festivities. Its location in the heart of the Cévennes places it close to many charming southern French towns and villages, including Anduze and Uzès, which add cultural richness for guests exploring the region. With an on-site team available for reception assistance, couples are supported throughout their stay.

Domaine du Rey can host over 30 guests across four traditional stone Mas, each thoughtfully restored to maintain their regional character. These houses provide comfortable and charming accommodation that blends naturally with the forested surroundings. Guests are housed in a collection of rooms and suites designed for group stays, offering communal areas as well as private spaces. The Mas are spread across the estate, providing both intimacy and the feeling of a small, private village experience. Whether gathering with family or celebrating with friends, the estate's accommodation ensures a communal yet relaxed atmosphere, ideal for destination wedding weekends.

The estate’s secluded 69-hectare setting ensures total privacy for wedding celebrations. It offers both indoor and outdoor spaces for ceremonies and receptions, including a swimming pool area and panoramic natural surroundings. One of the highlights is the opportunity to host an al fresco dinner under the olive trees—an atmospheric and memorable setting for evening celebrations. A dedicated team of local staff is on hand to assist with event coordination and guest services throughout the stay. Transfers from nearby train stations or airports can be arranged through Sandrine, the venue's coordinator. A two-night minimum stay supports multi-day weddings and relaxed guest experiences.

Getting there

The estate is reachable from Paris by train, with direct connections to either Nîmes or Montpellier in approximately three hours. From there, a private VTC transfer can be arranged by the Domaine du Rey staff, providing a comfortable 50-minute journey into the heart of the Cévennes.
