From London: The best route is to fly to Bergerac Dordogne Périgord Airport, which is a 1.5-hour drive to the château. Alternatively, the Eurostar to Paris followed by a connecting train or flight to Bergerac offers a smooth journey.

Château de Lacoste offers an exclusive dry hire option for weddings and events. This option allows full use of the château and its surrounding estate, ensuring privacy and flexibility for your event.
Domaine de la Vène’s main villa comfortably sleeps up to 16 guests across eight bedrooms. For larger groups, the adjoining Bergerie Cottage is available and accommodates an additional six guests in three bedrooms. In total, up to 22 guests can be accommodated across both the main villa and cottage.
Domaine de la Vène is primarily self-catering, with two fully-equipped kitchens available for guest use. However, upon request, the team can assist in coordinating private chefs, catering, and wine tasting experiences to enhance your event. You are free to choose your own vendors and suppliers as the estate is designed to provide flexibility for different event styles.
Guests can enjoy a range of activities on the estate, such as hiking, bird-watching, and nature walks in the extensive grounds. The pool area, gardens, and terraces offer opportunities for relaxation and outdoor dining. Nearby, guests can explore the historic city of Carcassonne, participate in wine tastings at local vineyards, or arrange horseback riding and yoga sessions to fully immerse in the natural surroundings.
The rental price typically includes the use of the main villa, which has eight bedrooms, two fully-equipped kitchens, and several communal spaces, including drawing rooms and a dining room. Access to the estate’s large swimming pool, gardens, and outdoor facilities is also included. Please note that there is a €1,000 cleaning fee added to all bookings, and the final quote will be tailored based on your needs.
The estate is easily accessible from major travel hubs. If traveling from Paris, flights to either Toulouse or Carcassonne are recommended. Toulouse is about a 1.5-hour drive from Domaine de la Vène, while Carcassonne is a shorter 25-minute drive. For guests arriving from London, direct flights to these same airports are available, with Toulouse providing the most frequent connections and Carcassonne offering the shortest driving distance.
