Château de Lacoste is a remarkable 18th-century estate located in the heart of Périgord Noir, perched on a limestone hill with sweeping views over the Dordogne Valley. This château stands out for its refined architecture, reminiscent of Loire Valley castles, and its proximity to historic feudal castles in the region. The estate is located in Castelnaud-la-Chapelle, away from the bustle but still surrounded by the cultural richness of the area. The château has been owned by the de Bastard family since the 19th century and has been restored to balance modern comfort with its original elegance. With over 1,500 m² of space, five lounges, a French-style garden filled with boxwood and roses, and a stunning infinity pool, this venue provides a truly magnificent setting for weddings and events.

Getting there

From Paris: The quickest way to reach Château de Lacoste is by train from Paris Austerlitz to Souillac, followed by a 30-minute drive to the estate. The journey by car from Paris takes approximately 5 hours via the A20 motorway.

From London: The best route is to fly to Bergerac Dordogne Périgord Airport, which is a 1.5-hour drive to the château. Alternatively, the Eurostar to Paris followed by a connecting train or flight to Bergerac offers a smooth journey.
