Same Sex Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat Engagement

Good morning folks, we hope you’re having a great week so far and that you’re enjoying some of this glorious weather we’ve been having this summer! We thought we’d head for a romantic walk this morning for today’s same sex Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat engagement brought to us by talented FWS vendor Wild Roses Photography.

Now you can’t get much more chic and glam than by having your engagement shoot in a charming former fishing village, nestled between Nice and Monaco in the heart of the French Riviera can you.

Well that’s the kind of thing our couple Robert and Chad were looking for. Somewhere that was both romantic and relaxing at the same time and you can’t get more romantic and relaxing than the French Riviera town of Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat. It is certainly a picture perfect destination for engagement photos.

Without further ado we shall now pass you over to our couple who will be taking us through their Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat engagement…

“We were fortunate enough to have a mutual friend introduce us. After a meet for drinks in the afternoon, the frequency of our dates and involvement of each other in future plans started to increase — so frequent that it often became uncomfortable to go a day without seeing each other. We continued to see each other and eventually our lives grew so close that we moved in together. The proposal took some time to arrive. Given that same-sex marriage is relatively new compared to historical weddings, we were not sure how to approach this in our lives.”

“But after multiple discussions, and Chad experiencing an unfortunate medical emergency that impacted us together, it became obvious that our lives would not be the same without each other. We had previously looked at engagement rings together, and picked out what we liked. Unknown to Robert, Chad had purchased Robert’s ring, and carried it around for about a month waiting for the right moment. On a Sunday night, Robert asked Chad why he was acting so strange lately, and Chad realized he couldn’t keep up the act any longer and asked Robert to marry him.”

“We were looking for a place that not only provided for a romantic getaway, but also something that would allow us to relax. The French Riviera met both requirements! It is often romanticized and it completely lived up to all of the hype! Prior to our arrival in the French Riviera, we had spent a week exploring the wonderful Luberon Valley in Provence and stayed at the Domaine de Fontenille, and had become enthralled with the charm and wonder of Southern France. On our drive down to the Hotel Royal-Riviera in Saint-Jean Cap Ferrat, we had realized our honeymoon was going to be even more than we had hoped!”
