Hello lovely FWS readers, we hope your week is going great! We have something a little different and romantic to share with you today. This stunning bridal boudoir lingerie styled shoot set at Verzasca Valley in the south of Switzerland is full of pretty lace and pastel blooms.
Have you ever considered a boudoir shoot? Why not consider surprising your hubby for your first year wedding anniversary with some gorgeous images of yourself (after all the first year anniversary gift idea is paper).
Verzasca Valley is the perfect backdrop for this unique shoot, we also think it’s the perfect spot for an utterly romantic engagement shoot, depending on the time of year you could even brave it in the water for some amazing shots!
We just love the feminine feel seen throughout these images, especially the pretty pastel flower crown and bridal bouquet set against the turquoise waters, it’s the perfect combination.
We will now pass you over to Sabrina Licata who will be walking us through this bridal boudoir lingerie shoot…
“The main inspiration for this shoot together with festum artis was to create a bridal shoot that is out of the ordinary – starting with the fact that our bride did not wear a regular wedding gown but a beautifully laced piece of boudoir lingerie.”
“In the stunning Verzasca Valley in the south of Switzerland we found the perfect spot: A magical scenery of naturally formed stones in different shades of grey, wild waterfalls and beautiful turquoise water from the Verzasca River.”
“The rocks that had been formed throughout the course of time by the water and the wild meanders of the water itself drew a beautiful outline for our bridal model and the valley gave the feeling of a truly fairy tale like place. With this outset the sensual styling of the bride fit perfectly.”
“Wearing a long veil with a lush floral head piece and floral embellishments throughout the entire length of the veil, our bride looked just like a fairy that had risen from the wild waters of the waterfall. Soft and tender colors were integrated in the bridal bouquet so that they wouldn’t interfere with the surroundings but underline the softness of the bridal lingerie.”
“At the same time the flower arrangement had to be just as wild as the natural surroundings. Because of the sensual styling the bride never looked as though she was randomly placed within the scenery.”
“She looks like she belongs exactly where she is, feeling safe and comforted within this magical place, being able to move freely in all her natural beauty and being protected by the strength of nature around her.”
