The prettiest outdoor ceremony backdrop
Good morning folks, we hope your week is going well so far. Keeping us in the summer spirit today we have for you a blue hue inspired Chateau Barthelemy elopement. Including a delicious wedding dessert table. Blue hue wedding blooms and the prettiest outdoor ceremony backdrop!
There’s no way you can say no to a chateau wedding after seeing these fine art inspired images by talented FWS vendor and wedding photographer Schantel Merwe. “Photography is my passion and has always been, especially people’s photography. Weddings are my favorite and I have been in the wedding industry for over 11 years. Traveling to the US, London, Paris, Germany, Dubai and Greece for sessions. My style can be described as journalistic, lifestyle, natural-light photography with an elegant, fun twist.”
Chateau Barthelemy and its grounds are showstopping
Chateau Barthelemy and its grounds not only look showstopping. But with the chateau being only 40 minutes from Paris it’s wonderfully practical too for your destination wedding. We’ll now pass you over to Schantel who will be walking us through this Chateau Barthelemy Elopement…
Jet off to France to marry the love of her life
“What makes a destination wedding or elopement so romantic? Maybe the fact that you are getting married in the same destination that you will be celebrating your honeymoon? Maybe it is the fact that you take friends and family with you on a memorable vacation. There is no doubt that this destination elopement will inspire any bride-to-be to pack her bags and jet off to France to marry the love of her life.”
The blue tones brought a touch of royal to the scene
“The cake cutting ceremony in front of the Chateau, with delectable biscuits, cakes and a floral arch framing them. The variety of blue hues, so typically French, making an appearance in different elements. Such as the flowers in the arch and the cake table. The blue tones brought a touch of royal to the scene. The coordinating of this gorgeous destination elopement was the work of French Grey Events who are dedicated to quality, romantic destination weddings in Paris.”
“Her elegant lace dress from Cathryn Bass Bridal was the perfect fit for this romantic look, with a Megan Therese veil that could be draped in a few different ways, to enhance her natural beauty. Her bouquet was created to look as if she had gone into the forest to pick wild flowers.”
They resembled the perfect couple in love
“Her knight in shining armour, Batiste, couldn’t take his eyes of his beautiful bride, constantly caressing her and staring into her eyes. Sophie, often smiling and laughing as Batiste whispered into her ear. They resembled the perfect couple in love. Him, looking very debonair in his Victor and Rolf suit and her being her perfect self.”
“Sophie and Batiste pledged their love in a whimsical woodland ceremony, with Chateau Barthellemy as the perfect setting. The trees created a sanctuary and soft light surrounded them, all you could hear was the orchestra of forest animals in the background.”
