About Alice André Photography

What We Love

Alice André is a French and Australian destination wedding photographer, born in Provence and now based in Australia, who is available for weddings across France and Europe. She works on both film and digital. She established her business in 2020 and works solo. In her own words, her work is "inspired by beauty and fuelled by connections", which she counts among her core values.

Style

Alice describes her style as a documentary approach with an editorial finish. Her galleries mix classic portraiture with off-the-cuff moments, artful vignettes and snippets of human connection. She describes her work as heartfelt, with a clean and natural edit intended to outlive trends.

Experience

Alice describes her approach on the day as gentle, intuitive and unobtrusive, with the couple's experience put ahead of everything else. As she puts it, "A wedding day isn’t a photoshoot." Rather than manufacturing moments, she follows the day as it unfolds and steps in with light guidance only when it is needed. She works in French and English.

In Paris, Alice has photographed at the Cercle de l'Union Interalliée, the Mairie du 7ème and Maxim's de Paris. In Provence she has worked at Château de Tourreau in Sarrians, Mas des Costes in Orgon and Château Sainte Roseline in Les Arcs-sur-Argens. Planners she has worked alongside include Marie Chicchirichi, Romance Wedding Paris, Laura André Weddings and Kiss & Toast.
