Are you yearning to visit the romantic city of Paris? Or maybe you have a trip planned and are considering your own photo session? Either way, today’s pre wedding photo session with Olivier from WeddingLight gives you a chance to take a stroll with these two lovers in Paris and feel like you are part of a romantic movie.
Jihan & Haireez flew in from Singapore to celebrate their engagement with a pre-wedding photos session in the city of love. First time in Europe for Jihan and the first time both of them had visited Paris, the betrothed couple decided to celebrate their love with a beautiful engagement shoot and tour around the iconic city.
Paris Photographer Olivier takes us through their Parisian shoot adventure: “We met in Montmartre at 7am this morning to beat the tourists and get the beautiful morning light overlooking the city. Montmartre is so quintessential Paris postcard and by he time we got to place du tertre, only a few painters and a couple of cafes were setting up for another busy day.

We started their pre-wedding portrait session on the square and around. The light was crisp and the view over the city is to dye for. They had just arrived from Singapore the previous day and and were mesmerized by the beauty of the city, in love and so happy to be together.
After a quick coffee and croissant, we went to their little boutique hotel where they got dressed for their photo shoot, took a few photographs inside the lobby and off we went around town for a great afternoon. They wanted a few photographs with the Eiffel Tower and were very open to any suggestions I may have.
We had 3 hours ahead of us, which is the perfect amount of time to play around the city like models for some high fashion editorials. We went to place de la Concorde, walked to rue de Rivoli, place Vendome and the national opera first. We had to stop at Ladurée, rue de castiglione for some delicious macarons on the way.
Jihan wanted to go inside Cartier for only 5 minutes she said and Haireez had to use of all his charm to stop her at the main entrance, only for a few photographs. Time was the essence, the light was gorgeous and there were quite a few more locations I wanted to go to.
We hopped into a taxi and went to the Louvres with is grand and magnificent, then walked across to the lock bridge where all lovers meet. By then the evening had set over the city, this beautiful day taking photographs around town was coming to an end. The photo session was a lot of fun and quite lively filled with laughters; a wonderful day and great memories.”
