They say beautiful is in the eye of the beholder and when I saw this stunning styled shoot from a photography workshop, it transported me into a festive haze. The actual shoot captured by Sarah Bradshaw Photography was actually intended to be inspiration for springtime, using the beautiful dogwood flowers and gold and warm accents, but I love the idea of using this for the basis for an elegant winter wedding inspiration.
I think planning a winter wedding can be a balancing act between using the season to accent your wedding day and not becoming a “themed ” winter wedding. Using this styled shoot as inspiration, I love the gold tones that feel so deep and rich, off set against the pale blue tones.
The pale blue tones create a magical frosty and wintery ambiance to the wedding, and ivy isn’t my favourite plant, looks stunning as accents on the table.
