We are whisking you away to the beautiful region of Provence in the South of France today which includes a stunning off the shoulder Christophe Alexandre Docquin gown. A perfect floaty design for an intimate lavender field ceremony.
You won’t want to miss the cute little flower girl and adorable ring bearer which feature in today’s real wedding that was expertly planned by Le mariage Made in Italy.
We love the lavender touches found throughout the gorgeous styling, from the cute ring bearers wreath to the lavender cocktails, the perfect nod to their Provence location. We’ll now hand you over to photographer Maddy Christina who will be walking us through this Christophe Alexandre Docquin wedding…
A fairytale wedding ceremony in the lavender fields of Valensole, the loveliest couple, sweetest ring bearers you’ve ever seen and a stunning Christophe Alexandre Docquin wedding dress. Maddy Christina flawlessly captured this magical day during what was on of the hottest days this summer!!
Karina and David contacted us asking to help them plan their destination wedding in Provence. During the first meeting we discussed what they had envisioned their wedding to be like and both said that an outdoor ceremony and lavender were a must – prior to scouting any of the venues in South of France we wanted to take them to the lavender fields in Valensole ( which fortunately were in bloom at the time ). They were in awe with all that beauty and immediately decided that there is no other place they would rather get married at. It was a bit of a gamble because no one, as far as we know, ever got married in the actual lavender fields of Valensole but we managed to arrange everything beautifully and we’re now excited to be able to propose this one of a kind experience to other couples as well.
It was a heart warming intimate ceremony witnessed by their immediate family and closest friends.
Our bride was absolutely stunning, Agnes Doussot nailed it with a very light, natural make up – the look on the groom’s face when he saw her walking down the aisle said it all.
Together with the talented Lorella from i firoi di lori, we envisioned an arch which would have the minimum impact but would help define the space for the guests and create a beautiful frame for our couple’s important moment.
After the ceremony the celebrations continued until the early morning at the reception venue, an exquisite Provincial private villa where the bride and groom had arranged for everyone to stay over. It was an incredibly special weekend for our couple and their guests which concluded with a lovely brunch by the pool the following day and a lifetime worth of memories.
Huge congratulations to Karina and David from everyone here at FWS!
