Good Morning and how was your weekend, filled with love, laughter and enjoyment? I have the perfect tonic to start your week with romance at Chateau Chambly just outside Paris, for a bohemian wedding inspirational shoot captured by Sonja and Alex Tome.
A chameleon of styles from the chic elegance of Channel to the whimsical romance of fairytales, bohemian is always a style that sets my heart a flutter. I am also a big fan of juxtaposition, and the soft bohemian beauty set against the austere facade of Chateau Chambly had me hooked in this beautiful inspirational shoots.
Receiving many fabulous submissions, it is sometimes hard to find that ‘unique’ details, however today’s perfume bar was certainly something new and a welcome addition to guest activities and favours.
Francesca of Il était une étoile explains the creative behind the shooting: “When I first visited Chateau de Chambly, I realised that it was the perfect place for a wedding inspiration shoot. I imagined a bohemian and very romantic atmosphere: an intimate and old styled table in the landscape, lace details, handmade calligrapher papers…
The French stylist Bėrangère Saint Pierre created an elegant and fluid wedding dress for this occasion. The florist Hélène, from les herbes hautes worked with countryside flowers like daisy and wildflowers. Her floral decorations, bridal bouquet and floral crown were made from the fresh flowers cut from the fields and meadows. Hélène perfectly interpreted my inspiration by realising natural and elegant arrangements.
This also was the occasion to show for the first time an idea I had from long time: the bar a parfumes. The idea? Each guest can compose his own fragrance and keep it as wedding favor. Or otherwise, guests can enjoy themselves creating the ideal fragrance of bride and groom: just be careful of the love potion, very powerful!
The day spent shooting at Chambly was blissful with the team creating a truly inspirational shoot.”
