About Symbiose Wedding & Event Planning

What We Love

Symbiose is a wedding planning and design agency based near Bordeaux. It specialises in eco-conscious weddings and destination weddings in South-West France. Founder Larissa is a German-born destination wedding planner in France who has lived in the country for 10 years. Symbiose brings together, in her words, "German efficiency, French savoir-vivre and an international perspective".

Style

Larissa describes her style as "natural, elegant and warm", with a focus on authentic experiences rather than trends. She values thoughtful design, local suppliers, seasonal choices and responsible practices.

Experience

Larissa speaks French, German and English, and particularly enjoys working with couples from abroad and with multicultural couples. Larissa's background is in international events, export sales and Bordeaux wine. She pairs strong organisational skills with a deep knowledge of the region and its wine and hospitality culture. Symbiose was established in 2025, and Larissa works solo, with freelancers as needed. She plans weddings in Bordeaux and works mainly across Gironde and Dordogne, and also covers Charente-Maritime and the wider South-West of France.
