About Rose Events

What We Love

Rose Events approaches weddings as fully constructed cinematic experiences. Founded in 2023 by Mathilde, the studio blends planning, storytelling, and aesthetics into celebrations designed to feel intentional from the first email to the last glass of champagne. The work is editorial in spirit and modern in form, with a quietly dramatic touch that lets every detail carry weight. The vision favours strong artistic direction over generic prettiness; references draw from film, fashion editorial, and tightly composed visual narratives. Couples come to Mathilde when they want their wedding to read like a coherent, art-directed body of work rather than a sequence of pretty moments, and when they want a calm, experienced presence to handle the logistics so they can stay fully present.

The service offering spans wedding day coordination, full wedding planning, design and production, and the cinematic Paris Elopement Edit, a collaboration with photographer Bonnie that pairs planning with editorial photography in a single integrated package. Each project is shaped around the couple, the venue, and the natural rhythm of the day, with attention paid as much to the emotional pacing of the celebration as to the visual identity that holds it together.

Availability and Travel

Mathilde works with international couples planning weddings across France and Europe. Based in Paris and most often booked across Ile-de-France, the studio also travels regularly to Bordeaux, the French Riviera, the north, and Provence, with destination work extending into Spain and Portugal. Wedding day coordination starts at €2,500. Full wedding planning, design and production, and the Paris Elopement Edit are quoted on request, scaled to the size of the celebration and the level of involvement you want from the studio. Peak-season dates fill 9 to 12 months out; last-minute weddings and elopements are accepted when the calendar allows, so reaching out early is the surest path to a confirmed booking.

Reviews

What couples say

Mélanie and Benjamin: Mathilde, a huge thank you to you and your team for the incredible work you did. The wedding was a magical moment. You were amazing.
Charlotte and Patrick: I can't thank Mathilde enough for helping me plan an unforgettable elopement in Paris. I live in Asia so all meetings were done on video call or via email, and from our first chat I had full trust in her. She listened to my vision and thought of all the details from cake, make-up artist, flowers and coordinated with our photographer to make sure everything ran smoothly. It was such a magical moment for us and we couldn't have done it without her. Highly recommend her if you need someone organised to help with your wedding planning.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about Rose Events

Will we have access to a planning platform?
Yes, for full planning services, you'll receive access to a 24/7 shared planning dashboard, where you can view your timeline, budget, vendor contracts and styling moodboards in real time.
Do you work with preferred vendors or can we bring our own?
I have a trusted network of talented professionals across France, Portugal, Greece, Italy and Spain, including florists, photographers, caterers, designers and artists, whose work I know and love. That said, you are free to suggest your own vendors, and I'm always happy to review their proposals and integrate them into the planning.
How far in advance should we contact you?
Ideally, 9 to 12 months before your wedding date. That said, I do take on last-minute weddings and elopements when my calendar allows, so don't hesitate to reach out.
