Sabine Legrand is a French-Australian wedding photographer based near Aix-en-Provence, working across the South of France, Europe and beyond. She photographs in French and English with a calm, present energy, especially at home with destination and bilingual weddings where cultures mix and guests fly in from everywhere.

Style

Sabine's visual language blends editorial and cinematic sensibilities. Her approach on the wedding day is guided but unhurried: gentle direction when it is useful, space when it is not, so the day can breathe and couples can stay present with their people. Influences run deep across fashion, cinema and photography, from Paolo Roversi, Sally Mann and Vivian Maier to Sofia Coppola, Agnès Varda and Tim Walker.

Experience

Sabine started her photography career in Paris, then spent a decade photographing weddings in Australia before returning to France with her Australian husband and their two children. Before moving into weddings, she worked in fashion photography, where she learned to build an image from scratch and notice the detail no one else does. Recent work includes weddings in Paris, the French Riviera and Tuscany.
