Design Notes: Pampas, Olive Branches, and Alfresco Dining
The design reflected a laid-back Provençal palette of cream, blush, and soft green, anchored by pampas grass and olive branches. The ceremony took place beneath a broad tree draped in neutral fabric, its aisle lined with olive bouquets and rose-filled arrangements that framed the couple beautifully. Clémentine of Awardweddings styled every element to complement the château’s natural setting—light, open, and romantic. After cocktails and canapés by the pool, guests moved to a wooded area for a family-style dinner at long tables dressed with foliage garlands, brass candlesticks, and soft cream tapers. The meal ended with a croquembouche, the perfect French finale to a sunlit celebration.
