A Provencal Celebration at Le Galinier de Lourmarin, Provence
Georgia and Florent's Provencal celebration at Le Galinier de Lourmarin with pastel florals, a vintage Citroen 2CV, and golden garden light among lavender fields.
Georgia and Florent, who live in Sydney, gathered friends and family at Le Galinier de Lourmarin for a destination celebration surrounded by lavender and olive trees in Provence. Pastel florals by Potins de Fleurs and a vintage Citroen 2CV set the tone for a day that balanced Provencal charm with effortless warmth.
Getting Ready

Georgia prepared in the villa's sunlit rooms, seated in a white Louis XVI armchair as she fastened her shoes. Her Karen Willis Holmes gown moved with natural ease, paired with Roman and French jewellery and Tony Bianco shoes. Bridesmaids in dusty pink silk mirrored the soft tones of the Provencal landscape.
Ceremony

The outdoor ceremony took place in the formal garden beside a pond, where roughly 25 guests gathered on white chairs among tall hedges and ancient trees. Pastel flowers by Potins de Fleurs framed the setting in lavender, rose, and eucalyptus tones. Georgia and Florent exchanged vows in the golden afternoon light.
Reception

A long rectangular table was set beneath an open-sided white marquee, dressed in linen with soft floral runners. Speeches and toasts were shared over a meal that reflected the estate's Provencal character. The couple danced late into the evening as guests lingered at the table under the stretched canopy.
Design and Details

A pale mint-green vintage Citroen 2CV was parked on the gravel driveway, decorated with a floral arrangement that tied it to the wedding palette. Potins de Fleurs wove pastel blooms and eucalyptus through every space, from the ceremony arch to the table runners, connecting the celebration to the garden's natural colours.
Flat Lays

A six-image collage documented the morning details, from a flat lay of bridal accessories and Tony Bianco shoes to the dusty pink bridesmaids' dresses hanging in the villa. The invitation suite, jewellery, and perfume bottle were arranged in warm morning light, capturing the preparation's relaxed elegance.
