Elopement in Montmarte Paris

Good Morning lovelies, today on the blog we have a very unique elopement in Montmarte Paris. This wedding features a boudoir shoot we which absolutely love. The details that have gone into this wedding design by Anaïde Luciate Di Bell’Garde are phenomenal, bringing a very intimate and luxurious styled wedding decor into a reality for both Anna and Guillaume. Gabriella Vanstern has does an incredible job at capturing all the intricate details. We love what this Paris shoot is all about, so let’s get into the details…

Anna is an actress. She lives in Paris. Guillaume is a renowned Mixologist in Paris. Anna meets Guillaume on a shoot. When I met Anna and discussed what she wanted for her elopement in Paris, she immediately mentioned the word “differently” in Montmartre.

Montmartre Paris. Montmartre is a district with authentic charm, famous for the Basilica of Sacré-Coeur and its magnificent view of Paris. Anna & Guillaume choose Montmartre especially for the majestic view Montmartre offer over the city of Paris.

The Café picture:
With The Place, du Tertre and its famous caricaturists. The Espace Dalí, the vineyards of Montmartre, the cabaret of the Lapin Agile, Montmartre was the perfect place for them to do their wedding photography.
After some shooting in front of one of the stunning doors of Montmartre Basilica, I sat them at the cafe they were to meet, “The blue cafe” as they call it. The scene was really gracious. The blue dress of Anna merging completely with the blue wall of the cafe was an enchantment.

About the Elopement ceremonies and dinner:
The elopement took place in the sumptuous Parisian apartment of Anna and Guillaume. They wanted a private reception and ceremony. Anaïde LUCIATE Di BELL’ GARDE, the wedding planner works closely with Kahina the florist designer to create an intimate atmosphere where blue and orange meet.

Anna designs her dress. She elaborates her dress with the stylist Maeva of @Meluccia_couture. The dress was inspired by scenes and movie sets. Anna wanted her dress to be modern and reflect her elegant and scenic personality. For her Hair, Anna Wanted a Hollywood hairstyle to feet her personality.

About the stationery and menus:
They have been created by the Atelier Preszburger Paris. The menus are made in plexiglasse for a moderne and chic touch.

The getting ready:

I truly believe that every bride to should do a soft boudoir photoshoot. Some relaxed and artistic pictures of her before tying the knot. For Anna we went for a soft boudoir shoot, I proposed her to have a tea moment with some macarons while she discovers the letter Guillaume wrote to her.

Anna and Guillaume met on a winter day 2014 in Paris, it was on a set of filming. When their eyes are crossed, they knew that nothing would be the same.
The strength of their relationship immediately struck me. It was all just fusional.

The tone of blue was very important for Anna and Guillaume. Blue reminds them of the pretty blue roof of Paris, but blue is also the colour of Anna’s eyes. Guillaume confides to me that Pauline’s eyes had particularly disturbed him when they met.

The mythic moment of the day Was when they begin to dance in the middle of the crowdy place in front of the Basilica of Montmartre. It was incredible to see how many people applause them at the end of the dance. I applause too just before continuing shooting.
