Grand open spaces & beautiful boulevards
Mark and Clémentine have been planning and photographing destination weddings in South of France for years. The city is filled with stunning landmarks to visit
“Bordeaux is an amazing city to tie the knot! From vineyards and chateaux to villas and hotels in the city centre, you will be spoilt for choice. The city is filled with stunning landmarks to visit. Restaurants, hang outs and shops, not to mention the delicious regional wines.” Says Clémentine.
Perfect for drinks the night before the wedding!
For this photo-shoot, preparations took place at the charming boutique hotel Hotel Konti. In the heart of the city & the ideal place to stay! The venue has been beautifully decorated and boasts a roof terrace. Perfect for drinks the night before the wedding!
The beautiful Art Deco surroundings in the hotel
Emilie was styled by the fantastic English-speaking local hairdresser and make-up artist Laura Cawte. She had a natural and glamourous style. “The hair style and make up I did for this shoot was inspired by the beautiful Art Deco surroundings in the hotel.” Said Laura.
It can be totally customized to your own wishes
She was wearing gorgeous dresses by Madame A Dit Oui, a French wedding dress maker. Who designs unique tailored made dresses and accessories. Whether you want a voluminous flowing dress or a dainty gown. You will find your dream outfit and it can be totally customized to your own wishes. There are several places all across France where you can try on dresses. She can also work across the borders so don’t hesitate to get in touch with her, even if you’re locked down.
We also love the ¾ sleeves and the transparency at the top.
“The Margot dress, voluminous like a dancer, brings grace and elegance like a ballerina. It’s light and romantic and will give you a modern and audacious silhouette. We also love the ¾ sleeves and the transparency at the top.
The Emily dress is modern, elegant, simple and light! It fits all body shapes with it’s a shape skirt. The open skirt gives it a point of audacity and makes it very comfortable to move around.” Says Coralie, the dress maker.
Jen from Fairy Fleurs created elegant and delicate flower arrangements. “I chose a very full voluminous styled bouquet in white to accentuate the gorgeous Madame Dit Oui gown and to create a link with the fabulous raised spots featuring on the dress. The hotel is situated in a perfect position in the centre of Bordeaux. It has a very quirky style and my second bouquet design was based upon a geometrical base to pick up the stylised patterns throughout the property.” said Jen. If you’re looking for to-die-for flowers for your wedding in South West of France, she is the one to contact!
