We first had the idea to shoot a styled shoot and when I reached out to Shalize she mentioned that the date I had picked for this shoot was her wedding anniversary!! So, in the end, we can say that it became their wedding anniversary session! It all worked out perfectly!
A little bit about them. Shalize is American and Gaylor is a French basketball player they met when Shalize was a cheerleader for a basketball team from Florida! They decided to move in together in France and do their life the french way.
It was really hard only choosing a few images because this couple were absolutely a dream to photograph in the city!
We started the photos in one of the cutest little cafes near where my family lives. I love the style of the Parisian restaurants and cafes so much we had to make a stop and capture the two of them celebrating their wedding anniversary!
I had the chance to collaborate with my mom at Avalanche Fleurs for the flowers and she had made not only one but two bouquets to photograph. Collaborating with everybody for this styled shoot was an incredible experience!
I had planned to go the Pont Alexander III and the Louvre to enjoy the beautiful architecture and mythic places in Paris. What I love the most in France during the summer is that the sunset so late you can photograph until 10 pm. We ended our shoot by the famous pyramid of the Louvre around that time and it was absolutely magical!
We had the chance to have a beautiful gown from the designer Carol Hannah Bridal from the dress store Lovely Bride Philadelphia. The dress was absolutely perfect for the windy day we had in the city!
