Welcome to another fabulous week on French Wedding Style and today we are starting off with a real life wedding at Domaine de Larchey near Bordeaux. The Domaine is in the heart of the Pessac Léognan region and originates from the XIX century and is typical of the Gascogne area.
The beautiful country wedding complete with the traditional 2 ceremonies, legal and celebratory, was planned by Elise Gorisse Agence Wedays and captured by Sandra Hygonnenc Photography. Today’s real couple are French but based in New York, but wanted to get married in the home country. The first part of the wedding was held at Bordeaux town hall followed by the afternoon ceremony at a church in Bordeaux, Sacré coeur , and then back to the venue to continue the celebrations.
The couple aimed to create a shabby chic style wedding using coral and off-whites for a bright and fresh feel. FWS Vendor Atelier Déco’ps was on hand for the decoration and flowers for the wedding, completing the look with vintage books and vases, and seasonal pretty floral designs.
