What We Love

Elegancia Hmua works with one bride per day. Hair and makeup are designed together by a single artist, so the day's look is one coherent vision rather than two specialists negotiating around each other. The same calm continuity extends to the bridal party: bridesmaids, the mother of the bride, and close family receive a beauty experience that feels considered as a whole.

The signature is Sophisticated Natural. Skin reads clean and luminous, definition is soft, structure is refined, and the look is built to translate in real life, on camera, and across a full wedding day. The bride should recognise herself in every photograph. From softly romantic and undone through to a more defined editorial finish, every brief begins with listening to the bride.

A separate craft sits alongside the beauty work: bespoke bridal hair accessories, handcrafted in cold porcelain and pearls, designed to complement each bride's specific look. Available as part of a beauty package or independently.

Availability and Travel

Based in Normandy near Rouen, Elegancia Hmua works across France through Paris, Burgundy, the Loire Valley, Provence and the Côte d'Azur, and travels to Italy regularly for destination weddings. Any wedding requiring more than three hours of return travel is treated as a destination engagement, with logistics planned at the same level of care as the beauty service itself. Travel further afield is open to discussion when a bride's wedding sits outside the usual map.

Featured on Style Me Pretty (a fairytale wedding at Château du Rivau) and Junebug Weddings (a destination wedding at the Westin Paris-Vendôme). Both features predated any website or social presence, and reflect the calibre of weddings the artist has long been trusted to be part of. Seventeen-plus years of bridal beauty experience underpin every booking, built across formal hairdressing studies, advanced training at the Make Up For Ever Academy in Paris, and certified image consulting.
