Intimate wedding in Paris

Summer time, the perfect season for an intimate wedding in Paris which is exactly what our beautiful bride and groom Melanie and Jon planned for their destination wedding with the help of wedding planners So Special Events.

We love the pops of colour seen in Melanie’s bridal bouquet created by Poeme Fleuriste which perfectly compliment the luxury black tie feel to their intimate day which is full of stylish touches. The Eiffel Tower backdrop and the charming streets of Paris really were the icing on the cake.

It was officially the HOTTEST wedding of the year, and perhaps of the last decade. It was a period of June when a heatwave has covered Paris and the temperatures were very extreme!

Melanie and Jon live in Australia, but wanted to have their wedding in Paris, as some of their friends and family members live in Europe. They have traveled the world to say “I do” and to celebrate with their closest friends in a very elegant secret location in central Paris.

The venue is perfect for intimate receptions with 30 guests or so and offers two reception rooms and a very good quality in-house catering.

Melanie is a very stylish bride who wanted to add some touches of colour to the decor, and instead of using timeless white and pastel colour palette, she decided to go for an intense purple, bordeaux and pink mix that looked incredibly modern and sophisticated in a room with an opulent 18th-century decor. If you are looking for a colour inspiration, definitely try to mix and match golden and bordeaux/pink shades for a rich set-up for your black-tie event.
