About the Venue

Château de Champlâtreux is an exceptional example of 18th-century French architecture, just 30 minutes north of Paris and only 15 minutes from Charles de Gaulle Airport. Built between 1751 and 1757 by architect Jean-Michel Chevotet, the château was originally a country retreat for the Molé family prominent figures in the Parisian parliament. The estate, which remains in the Noailles family, is listed as a historic monument along with its expansive grounds.

Designed for entertaining, the château features four grand state salons, a formal vestibule, and a stately marble and stone entrance hall. Couples may host ceremonies in one of the historic salons, outdoors beneath centuries-old trees, or even at the nearby 18th-century Saint-Eutrope Church located within the grounds. With capacity for up to 500 guests for cocktails and 300 for seated dinners, Château de Champlâtreux provides a versatile and impressive backdrop for weddings of scale and style.

While there are no other rooms within the château itself, the Closerie ensures that couples and their close guests can enjoy a quiet and private stay on the property, complemented by the pastoral beauty of the surrounding grounds.

The château offers over 450m² of elegant reception space across six historic salons and vestibules, with flexible layouts for cocktails, dinners, and dancing. The grounds span 50 hectares and include an English-style park with a circular pond, manicured lawns, and historic stables.

Wedding services include ceremony space, a dedicated event coordinator, 160-car parking, outdoor lighting, and optional luxury extras like a 1985 Rolls Royce Corniche, a Porsche 911, or a vintage MG B. A dedicated cocktail and late-night bar service, “Le 1757,” is also available.

Getting there

From Paris: Château de Champlâtreux is located 27 km from central Paris. The fastest route is via the A1 motorway from Porte de la Chapelle, exiting toward Cergy-Pontoise on the N104, and continuing to Luzarches via the D316. The château is just 2 km from this exit, clearly signposted before the town of Luzarches.

From London: Travelers from London can reach the château by taking the Eurostar to Paris Gare du Nord (approximately 2 hours and 20 minutes), followed by a 30-minute drive or private transfer to the venue. Alternatively, flights into Charles de Gaulle Airport provide a convenient route, with the château just 15 minutes away by car.
