I believe in love. Untouchable love, imperfect love, true love. That love that doesn’t reside in the greatness of a frozen smile but in words, in gestures.
It’s this love that made you think nothing would ever be like it was before, the moment he took your hand. It’s this love that resides in the fullness of a comfortable silence, in the in-between moments. It’s all those small quotidian things that build something even bigger than the two of you.
That’s why I can see love where sometimes no one else can. Because love is not in the poses and stopped moments, but really in the flowing life, in the events, in the unfinished sentences, in the caresses, and in everything else.
Nothing cheesy, nothing posed, just you. Because who has time to be perfect when imperfection looks so beautiful.
