About the Venue

Domaine de Canaille, set within the Calanques National Park under Cap Canaille, is one of the largest private properties on the Côte d'Azur. This former Revestel hotel, which once hosted Virginia Woolf and Winston Churchill, is a prestigious 600m² villa that has been meticulously renovated.

The property boasts a 400m² terrace overlooking the azure waters of the Arena beach, accessible via a private path in under five minutes. The villa can comfortably accommodate 24 guests across 12 rooms. The estate includes a large swimming pool and a year-round heated jacuzzi, making it an ideal venue for both intimate and grand wedding celebrations.

Located just a 15-minute walk from the picturesque village and port of Cassis, Domaine de Canaille combines historical elegance with modern luxury, offering a unique setting for unforgettable weddings.

Accommodation & Amenities

Accommodation: Domaine de Canaille offers luxurious accommodation with 12 elegantly appointed rooms. The second floor features a master suite with a sea-view bedroom, office, and two private terraces. The first floor houses seven bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, five of which offer sea views, and a lounge/dormitory. On the ground floor, there is a twin room with a garden view and en-suite shower. Additionally, two twin rooms and a suite are available at the estate's entrance house. This expansive property provides ample space for up to 24 guests, ensuring a comfortable and luxurious stay.

Amenities:  Domaine de Canaille is designed to offer the utmost comfort and enjoyment. Guests can indulge in the 13x5 meter heated swimming pool, available from April to October, and the jacuzzi, which is heated to 38°C year-round. Daily fresh bread and pastries, along with a continental buffet breakfast, are provided. Optional services include a home chef and daily housekeeping for six hours. For entertainment, there is a home cinema with HD images and stereo sound. The estate also features high-speed optical fiber internet throughout, ensuring guests stay connected during their luxurious retreat.

SPECIFIC CONDITIONS
Outdoor reception only (a marquee can be rented in case of bad weather at extra charge), except for intimate weddings.
Dance floor on the main terrace in front of the dining room.
Music:
--> loudspeakers are only allowed inside or on the main terrace at a specific location and facing the sea/mountain
--> only acoustic or classical/background music is allowed at the pool or in the alley (no pool party with loud music and DJ)
Mandatory (with extra charge):
--> a member of the staff for cleaning the toilets and ensuring that no outside guests wander inside of the house
--> safety officer trained in first aid and fire-fighting (from 70 guests)
We ask you to hire a wedding planer to ensure the coordination with our team (we can make recommandations)
Extra toilets must be rented if more than 90 guests
Check in at 5pm and check out at 10pm. Extended hours are possible with extra cost.
