Wedding Chateau Rental - Chateau du Grand Luce

We have a magnificent wedding Chateau rental available to share with you today, the stunning Chateau du Grand Luce in the Loire Valley, France and the perfect location for a romantic wedding.

The Château du Grand-Lucé is one of the most prestigious and incomparable XVIIIth Century Château in the Loire Valley. Set in beautifully manicured gardens, the Chateau provide a variety of picturesque settings for exchanging vows, cocktails and your reception, be it on an intimate or grand scale.

The Chateau has been amazingly renovated and decorated by the owner, the famous American Interior Designer Timothy Corrigan.

For your wedding the Chateau can accommodate your guests in their 14 beautifully decorated guest suites. Newly weds generally choose to stay in the largest “Luce” suite, with stunning views towards the gardens and lake.

You will have the choice to organize your activities, cocktails, tea, lunches and dinners anywhere in the gardens or interior rooms.

If the weather permits, you can choose to have your wedding dinner under the linden trees lit by sparkling chandeliers which we hang in the trees.

The Orangery offers another stunning location to host a meal, with the advantage of being indoors, yet having a direct view of the exotic garden with the pool in its center.

If you are planning a larger wedding with over 80 guests, it is suggested that you consider the rental of a tent. The Chateau can arrange for the bride and groom to arrive or depart by helicopter on the grounds of the château.

The beautiful chapel of the castle can also be used for an intimate religious or non-denominational ceremony.

Most guests prefer to arrive at the châteauone or two days prior to the ceremony (Thursday or Friday) and leave on Sunday afternoon, but of course additional days can be arranged depending on availability and your schedule.

The “Château du Grand Lucé Wedding Package” consists of 3 days / 2 nights (up to a maximum of 28 people) and includes:

The use of the château, including its 14 guest rooms, salons, kitchen, library, TV room and gym.
Staff for daily room and château cleaning (towels are changed daily and mineral water is added to the rooms.)
The use of the orangery, theatre and chapel.
The complete use of the gardens, lake and woods for your wedding pictures.
The use of the pool
Tables and chairs up to 80 people
Lights in the trees
The following services are extra:
Breakfasts at the rate of 10 euros per day per person.
-Meals organized by the château (food, chef and service)
-Dance floor.
-Tables and chairs for parties above 80 people
-Tent or Canopy
– musicians, flowers, fireworks, hot air balloon flights and other activities can be organized upon request and charged as extra.

It is of course possible to book for a longer stay up to one week in order to enjoy the property, to prepare your wedding, to organize various activities for your guests and to relax after the wedding day, rates available here.

The château can organize lunches and dinners for up to 30 people.

Beyond that, the Chateau strongly advise that you employ the services of a caterer. You can use your own or chose one of the Chateau’ recommended partners that they have worked with.

They can also refer you to their wedding planner partner , “Mon plus beau jour” who can create your fantasy wedding and handle all of the details.
