Couple in Love in Paris Styled Shoot

Is there anything better than being a couple in love in Paris? I know when we visited Paris for our 5th wedding anniversary it was just a magical city to be when in the swathes of romance, as we spent hours just exploring the city, appreciating the sweet mundane that Parisians experience and generally being in love with the city itself.

We didn’t book a shoot to capture our time in Paris, but if you are thinking about it today’s Couple in Love in Paris shoot organised by the team at WeddingLight will be sure to convince you.

The team at WeddingLight take us through this chic styled shoot: “In the heart of Paris, the city of love, is where we set our scene for a splendid day of romance, captured through Olivier Lalin’s lens. The traditional white wedding gown from Ma Bonne Amie complemented the subtle blush, pink hues which were echoed throughout the shoot; through the beautiful, elegant bouquet and exquisite table décor, right up to the magnificent wedding cake from Synie. In contrast, the groom wore a stand-out blue suit by Faubourg saint Sulpice, which added a different striking, prominent colour element to the event.

We began the day with a sultry boudoir shoot to capture the intimate moments with the bride in the lead up to the wedding. The bride wore crystal-encrusted earrings and a lace bralette underwear set, finished off with a traditional bridal veil and alluring hair and makeup courtesy of JMS by James.

The bridal bouquet which was put together by Une Fleur en Liberte, incorporated delicate long-stemmed powder pink roses and spring purple broom that were hand-tied with ribbon to match which enhanced the overall elegance and sophistication of the day.

The couple were whisked away in a glorious vintage convertible DS provided by Anciennes de Prestige.

The refined and classic Parisian architecture was a perfect backdrop for this newlywed styled shoot and inspired the opulent table setting. The decadent wedding cake brought a lavish aspect of luxury as it was adorned in gold to match the gold-rimmed plates and candle holder.

The enchanting hand written calligraphy invitations by Studio French Blue, offered another element of pink to the table to complement the cake and the flowers.”
