  • Hi,

I would love to win that stunning dress to offer it to a dear friend of mine. She got married last year in a civil office with only 4 witnesses including me as she was pregnant. She is planning to have THE wedding this year and I know that the baby is costing her so much money and a nice wedding will do too. She is such a elegant woman and she would look gorgeous in that dress…she really deserve to have a wonderful celebration and that dress would help for sure.

  • Hello,
I am organising my wedding in Switzerland for next winter. The most we can will be homemade in vintage Style! I really love old-fashioned style and I want a simple wedding. I am starting to look at my dress and I really have a crush on this one : simple, delicate, not “meringue” style. So I will be very happy to wear it for my D-Day! Thanks!

  • Hello!

I’m a Korean-Turkish bride soon to be wedded to an American naval officer in College Park, MD on March 23rd. We are incorporating a vintage theme to our unique wedding that includes Middle Eastern and Asian twists. I haven’t been able to find the dress I’ve been looking for but the Johanna dress just took my breath away! The intricate lace and the simple yet modest look is exactly what I was looking for… I would be so pleased if I were chosen to win the dress. Thank you for this opportunity!

  • After being with my partner for 10 years we are going to have a quick wedding in the next couple of months (it’s a secret)… just four people; in our local castle with a celebration later in the year; a simple party in a secret walled garden which raises money for charity. I love Minna’s work and it would be a dream to wear her dress at our Wedding and later in the Summer for a Party. It would make my day very special indeed!

  • Hello there,
what a competition! I’m a down-to-earth Finnish bride, getting married to my man in the heat of July this summer, and I’d simply love that dress: it is simple but cute, traditional yet modern, and what’s more, an ecological choice. Furthermore, the dress won’t be a one-off: it can be worn for years to come at any summer occation, and it will always remind me of my special day.

Our chic city wedding will be an intimate evening occasion with only some 50 of our closest friends and family, with apple trees and lanterns in the garden, acoustic quitar in the background… I’m planning to wear my Swedish Hasbeens clogs to complete the relaxed but chic summery look. I do hope Lady Luck has my back in this one!

  • Bonjour,
I would love to be the owner of this beautiful dress for our big day in June, as I fell ill last year and had to have an emergency operation two weeks before we had planned to get married. Having to cancel everything was heart breaking for us both.

I want to show my fiancé just how much he means to me by thanking him for being my strength and support through that difficult time and proving that we don’t need to have a big white wedding day to show the world that we rock as a team! This dress optimises what our wedding day will mean to us this time round.

    Hugs and love, Kirsty xxx

  • Happy winterdays everyone and thank you for offering a nice chance to win the beautiful Johanna -dress,

I have been daydreming of Minna´s pearls for over a year now, I wish that I will be wearing one of Her beauty´s when The Day comes. Yet I have not met Him, but maybe winning this dress is a step twoards My Dream Coming True?

  • I plan to get married in a park in New York in a couple months. We will have no guests at the celebration, it will just be me and my future husband. I have a beautiful long dress for the ceremony, but it is not very handy to go around New York having drinks, taking pictures, celebratory dinner etc. with the long dress. I imagine it being totally ruined after that. Therefore I have been dreaming of a short lace dress to wear after the ceremony and this would be the perfect one!

  • I would love win because I haven’t found a dress within my budget that I absolutely love. My son was born 10 months ago and he absorbs a lot of our disposable income its hard to justify treating myself to something so fabulous when there is always something else he will need.

  • I would absolutely love to win this fantastic wedding dress, my partner and I have just brought a house and this is currently taking all our savings. My Mum and Dad are helping out a lot, but it would really assist me in ensuring that I have the wedding that I dream off.

  • I would love to win this dress so that I could feel special on my big day. We are going to have to have a very small wedding and I am worried i won’t be able to find a dress in our price range that makes me feel special. A beautiful dress like this would be a wonderful gift 🙂

  • I would love to win such a stunning dress for our wedding. I’m currently a mature student and my boyfriend and I are struggling to save for a house deposit so this is a fab chance to not only save money but also have a gorgeous dress for the big day!

  • Do you believe in destiny? I think this dress and I were meant to be together. It’s nearly identical to the one my mother wore to her wedding back in the late 60’s which was later destroyed in a house flood. It’s so gorgeous and I always loved her old dress – plus it has my name on it 😉

  • I would love to win this dress as it is a beautiful design, and would be lovely to go to church in after the wedding to!

  • Would live to win this for my cousin as I know she would just love it! No other reason then that & I like to make my family smile 🙂

  • This is tres chic! I want to get married beside a waterfall in Iceland and this is the perfect dress…Thank you..x

  • I am getting married in September and this would be my perfect dress. It is beautiful and I know I would feel confident and look fabulous in it. I can just imagine putting it on, the morning of my wedding and knowing everything will be just perfect.

    • My wedding day is booked,
      The day is drawing near,
The guest list just keeps growing
      and everything costs so dear,
But there has always been one thing
since he got down on one knee,
The thing I always dream about
      the perfect dress for me.

This is that perfect dress 🙂 Thank you x

  • this would be an ideal dress for a down to earth and natural spring wedding like mine. I’d swap the head piece for a chain of small white flowers. It is then crying out to be paired with this years in colour- mint green for bridesmaid dresses. This bouquet would look stunning with it too http://pinterest.com/pin/96053404522240142/

In honesty I can’t say why i think I deserve the dress more than any of the other girls above, I just know that it truly is beautiful and needs a modest girl to show it off and take good care of it.

  • A big wedding or an intimate ceremony – for us being a Finnish-French couple the question will be more or less how to get our family and friends together to celebrate our love. Wherever we’re going to get married I want to wear the Johanna dress. It’s beautiful, romantic and light – as I want our wedding to be.

  • I am based in the UK, and having a vow renewal to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary this July. I had the big dress before, and this time having styled so many brides with hair accessories through my business I would adore the vintage lace look. The dress is stunning and I especially like the sleeves. It fits the bill perfectly for our simple ceremony in Spain. To win this would be a dream come true x

  • I would love to win the Johanna dress!
We’re having a simple wedding in an art gallery and the style of the dress is soooo perfect.
My groom is teeny tiny (a petite 5ft4!) and when I tried on wedding dresses all of them (although absolutely beautiful) were just so BIG! I would drown him if I stood next to me in one of those. This dress, on the other hand, would look great and we also wouldn’t look like a couple of cake toppers.
I think my favourite thing about the dress is that I could also where it elsewhere. On our honeymoon, perhaps? It’s such a shame when so much money is spend on a dress that can only be worn once. How wonderful to wear a dress you declared your love in over and over again? xxx

  • I was proposed on my 26 birthday while I was going through cancer treatments. We have kept the proposal as a secret from everybody except our five year old son. Now almost a year later the treatments are still going on and so is our secret wedding plans. We got this lovely old factory in the city for the venue of the wedding and the day of the wedding is my husbands birthday in the winter. The ultimate plan is to reveal the engagement with the wedding invitations. To surprise friends and family with a happy news. The problem is that because the plans are a secret we have no one to share the process nor the expenses with.

I have been dreaming of a simple vintage style gown from Minna’s collection and there is several lovely pieces. But sadly it seems that the dresses might be over our budget and I’m having difficulties in finding a affordable dress that is simple and relaxed enough and not too fitted cause my figure is changing because of the medication. I think that Johanna dress might be perfect cause of the loose fit and the adjustable belt. My fiancee says that I’ll get my dress anyways but I know that a prize like this would be perfect!

    Happy weddings you all!

  • I would love to wear this dress. My wedding is booked for 16th August 2014, and we’re doing everything on a tight budget, so to win a dress would be a dream come true. The wedding day will be tinged with some sadness, as my dad passed away when I was 18, and though there can be no compensation for my his not being there, I would be proud to look as beautiful as possible for him looking down on us during the civil partnership. (My fiancee is a lovely lady who will also be wearing a dress, though she plans on a prom-style one, if we can afford one). This dress is exactly what I have been looking for, lace, simple, elegant, and well-suited to our venue of St Mary’s Lighthouse, Whitley Bay, England. Regardless of who wins, I hope there will be a photo follow-up, as it is such a lovely prize.

  • If I could have a dream prize,
    The dream would be,
    This new dress on me
Love is a blossom for the whole world to see
And wearing this dress only happiness I can see
Its exquisite white lace put on me.

  • I really want this dress as I’m getting maried in 4 months and I still haven’t got a dress as I want something different. We are having a pagan ceremony in the woods by the lake, with fire in the middle of the circle and lots of flowers in my hair. This will be followed by traditional dances so I need something that would allow me to dance the night away without tripping over 🙂

  • I would love to have that dress! It would look so pretty in midsummers endless light here at Finlandn and I would look like a little fairy! 😀

  • I would love to win the dress. My partner proposed to my recently and we just wast a quiet wedding celebration with close family and friends.

  • I would love to win. I love the collection and i was going to hire my dress but it would be nice to have my own to keep

  • 7 Years this april, we have been together
Proposing on my birthday, we will be forever
We started as just friends on a cold winters night,
now we have achieved so much, money used to be so tight.
A business, a home, family and friends
We need to finally show everyone this beautiful little dress!
