Welcome the first blog sponsors to join the FWS Ensemble

Happy Sunday to everyone.  Today is somewhat of a turning point in the evolution of French Wedding Style Blog, taking it from running on passion to its first steps to becoming a paid for passion, with the addition of the first sponsors to join the FWS Ensemble.

I’m extremely proud to introduce our headline sponsor, the lovely and award winning Jo Barnes Vintage Accessories.  I have been a fan of former destination bride Jo’s work for a number of years and was lucky enough to loan a headpiece for a glam event.  My evening with Gracie on my head was so comfortable that I forgot it was there!  Jo created her very own bridal bouquet and headdress using her Grandmothers treasured jewels and that’s how Jo Barnes began…Jo Barnes Vintage accessories Her love of vintage and passion for the glitz and glamour of bygone eras has inspired Jo to create her beautiful collection of headdresses and accessories.  Jo  is renowned worldwide for the outstanding customer service herself and her team provide, she believes planning a wedding is a stressful task which is why Jo Barnes brides offer the highest level of service with a friendly approach and personal touch so that you can have fun choosing and designing your bridal accessories.  Jo Barnes was recently awarded National winner at the 2012 wedding industry awards for best accessories and was also shortlisted as one of the 6 finalists in The 2012 Bridal Buyers Awards for best headdress designer. Jo’s vintage inspired bridal collection and new red carpet collection have been featured on the blog.

The first classic sponsor that I am delighted to welcome to the French Wedding Style Ensemble is Fabienne Slater and Elian Concept Weddings and Events.  Elian Concept Weddings and Events is a boutique management agency specialising in the design, planning and co-ordination of exclusive and refined weddings in the UK and France.

Fabienne: “At Elian Concept Weddings and Events we love France and feel blessed when clients love it too and want to celebrate their special occasion there.  My french roots along with exception attention to detail and professional yet friendly approach means that I can help you plan your dream wedding as much or as little as you wish.”

You will recognise Fabienne from her expert advice for the Q&A series, lily of the valley wedding inspiration and insightful post on whether you need a wedding planner for your french wedding.

The next classic sponsor to welcome is Lexi De Rock, American born hair and make up artist living in Paris.  Lexi started her career in beauty early, creating hair and make up as well as wig design for various theatre companies as a teenager in North Carolina.  She decided to turn her passion for creativity in beauty into a full time career, so she could love doing it every day.

Whilst in Paris, Lexi has had the privilege to work with such amazing designers such as Max Chaoul Couture, Delphine Manivet, Eden Wynter, JMade and Loxwood designing beautiful hair and makeup for their collections. Lexi also put together an invaluable piece on finding your hair and makeup artist for a wedding abroad.

And last but definitely not least is French Made London.  French Made is a London based dessert table company. Their buffets include Anglo-French custom cakes, sweets, favours and styling. They specialise in rustic/ shabby chic/ vintage inspired design and can work with you to make your special occasion a personalised and a truly memorable one.

A truly heartfelt thanks to all the support from the sponsors, without whom I would not be able to continue to develop FWS and hopefully one day write the blog on a permanent basis from France.  Don’t forget to find out more about the fabulous FWS sponsors by clicking on the links above or in their adverts to the righthand side of this post.
