Amy and Yousef met back in Ireland but decided on a destination wedding amongst the lavender fields in the Aquitaine region of South West France. Taking advantage of the beautiful weather with an outdoor ceremony infront of family and friends, before celebrating with an outdoor drinks reception and formal dinner inside the Chateau.
This is just a sneak peak of the wedding, the full wedding film in France here. But I wanted to find out more about the lady behind the wedding video in France Becci Blood: “I love weddings, I think every girl does; the thrill of seeing a bride in ‘the’ dress then discovering the chosen wedding theme and seeing the attention to detail in the organisation of the day are just some of the highlights. To film a wedding is such a privilege.
You get to see the bride getting ready, to film the beautiful dress and witness the entire day coming together. Every wedding is different – I love filming them all, but filming weddings in France is even more exciting. I got married in France so it’s a country close to my heart. I know that the settings are likely to be stunning, the themes more extravagant and the people a dream to work with.
The weather isn’t guaranteed, but there’s less chance of rain, which gives me more scope to capture beautiful scenes such as fields of lavender or sunflowers and quirky french details like the pièce montée. I can’t wait to film more fantastic weddings and discover more beautiful locations in this gorgeous country.”
