Wedding Anniversary in Bastide du Roy

It is so nice to witness the talent from all the vendors

Dreamy French wedding shoots are just one of the things we love the most about what we see every day on the blog. It is so nice to witness the talent from all the vendors revealed on every little detail. But this shoot is for an anniversary in Bastide du Roy, it has a little something very special.

Spoiler alert, surprises are coming at the end of the article!

Let’s hear from Thomas Audiffren as he gives us all the details. This couple is real and an already married couple who wanted to keep incredible memories of their wedding anniversary. Two years after the actual wedding they traveled to this romantic venue. To reminisce over the 600+ days making memories together. Spoiler alert, surprises are coming at the end of the article!

Something that we could describe as an elopement fantasy.

But you should just relax and enjoy discovering this shoot before you jump down to the bottom. In the romantic Bastide du Roy, a few kilometers away from Cannes on the French Riviera. Thomas Audiffren captured all the emotions of this sweet couple. This styled shoot is dedicated to a sweet wedding anniversary. Something that we could describe as an elopement fantasy.

A table set with just two seats for the two lovers, nothing more

It is inspired by soft blues and intimate moments with a table set with just two seats for the two lovers, nothing more. Our goal was to create a very elegant, soft and romantic styled shoot. Trying to find a balance between a fashion approach and a lifestyle touch. This look was enhanced by the incredible work of Julien Matha with the hairstyle and Amandine Poisson for the make up.

The couple’s complicity and love really showed

Our color palette and texture elements contributed to the wedding venue’s refinement with both French and Spanish gardens that surrounded us. At the same time, the evidence of the couple’s complicity and love really showed. They have been growing together for more than six years and have shared so many special moments together. The delicate blue inspired stationery created by Promesse Graphique perfectly combined the quality of a refined textured paper and the soft colors that is rarely witnessed in “fine art” weddings.

The vibrancy of the bride’s flower bouquet, designed and created by Sander Smids, appeared as the perfect trace to reveal our unconventional approach for this shoot. The flowers are deconstructed and chosen to fit with the simple table with these specific colour tones.Brightened by the presence of deep red gooseberries.

The final touch for the table was brought by the Gaston Chiquet house’s champagne that brought life and friendliness to the decor. The bride and groom really enjoyed cheering with it during the wedding anniversary. The Australian shepherd, Mia, was the mascotte of the Bastide du Roy. She also brought so much happiness and some crazy laughs during the day.

As you will see in the photos below, love brings (not so) unexpected surprises such as a bigger family. This couple was excited to incorporate their marvelous daughter, Margot. An unleashed french bulldog, Nestor for some extra laughs. Such a pleasure for the team to have the chance to enjoy a great moment with amazing couples such as Amélie and Rémi and their family!
