It maybe the middle of the week, but we are not slowing down on the fabulousness featured on the blog this week, continuing today with a vintage styled wedding at Abbaye de Royaumont. Veronique and Matthieu’s weekend wedding was set in the ancient Abbaye North of Paris, founded in 1228 Saint Louis, King of France before being occupied by Cistercian monks.
Abbaye de Royaumont is very well known for its massive reception and dinner room which was a chapel first. The picturesque Abbaye setting would be hard to overshadow, but Veronique’s bridal style is simply breathtaking, the pinnacle being her lace veil and train.
Destination wedding photographer Floriane Caux captured the vintage styled wedding: “I stayed all the week-end with them and slept at the venue. I had the feeling to be one of theirs, it was easier for taking pictures and capturing the intimate moments of the celebrations. Veronique and Matthieu have shared all their love with all their guests and the party was incredible! ”
