Many times when couples look at a venue, it can be hard to see how to use the framework of the venue to create your own venue styling to match your wedding theme.
Ambra Costner from Query Events put together a shoot in downtown McKinney, Texas looking at how to style a venue two ways, one bold colour explosion and the second rustic country chic. The venue Gather, Crystal Bryant, has an old world feel and the restaurant is built on the side of a hotel, providing exposed brick and piping throughout.
Ambra says about the shoot: “The styling and concept was wholly born from inspiration surrounding the glamorousness and sophistication of French women. We brought in very trendy elements such as the black and white stripe table cloth, glitter infused teal chargers and a neon yellow blazer and top knot bun for our bride. Even with nearly 5,000 miles between Texas and France we still found opportunity and influence from the glorious country, with intent in each and every detail.”
I am completely loving the bold yellow blazer added to the dress and is an emerging trend of brides adding contrasting cardingans, blazers and pashminas to their bridal ensemble.
