The Sunday R&R

This week has flown past and we are here for another Sunday R&R to catch up on all things fabulous in the world of French weddings. But first has anyone been to The National Wedding Show yet on the first two days?  How was it for you and is there any exhibitors or features I just have to go and visit?

Anyway on with Monday which started off with the first beach side Chateau wedding for Aurélie & Marc’s French/ Spanish wedding was an international gathering, just outside La Baule in western France at Chateau Saint Marc.

Wednesday’s post is a photo session with a difference, captured on the Paris honeymoon of photographers EmmPhotography.  The session is beyond romantic with newlywed Claudia in an awe inspiring Romana Ghita Urmanczy wedding gown, all set against the iconic Eiffel Tower backdrop.  The beautiful bride was captured by her new husband and fellow photographer on their Parisian adventure.

I am honoured to feature many fabulous and beautiful locations on the blog, during the many real wedding, engagements and proposal shoots. Friday’s shoot is set in the capital of romance, but what struck me most about the shoot was that the newlyweds who had eloped, were the stars of the shoot and the city a mere romantic backdrop.

Saturday went a little offbeat and I loved it! I love weddings, French style and France in general, but you already know that about me.  However during my recent and very rare day off and away from the laptop, I started to realise how narrow my scope of creative vision has become and I have decided that I am sporadically interspersing our regular content with extra curricular posts.

These posts will be on a variety of subjects including the business side of running a blog, life journeys and interesting features, adventures along the blogging way, all in a way to alleviate creative myopia that can occur when passionate about one subject. Read on
