Let’s find out more about the lady behind the lens: “Being a wedding photographer means not just having a great eye for a photo or being able to anticipate a moment before it happens. Above all, you need to be a people person. None it means anything unless people feel comfortable enough to relax around you and I love that my clients feel that way about me. The biggest compliment I can get from my clients is that I felt like a guest on the day or that they didn’t notice I was there unless they needed me.
No wedding day is the same and I love the build up over the weeks of planning when clients update me on their plans and then the moment when I arrive and see it all come together! I photograph in stately homes, on farms and in farmhouses, in barns, in back gardens, at the seaside, in the mountains, in chateaux, in vineyards.
I know how stressful it can be planning a wedding, especially from far away and I am always on hand for help and advice. I am trained to work with all different lighting conditions, without seeing the venue first and my style fits perfectly with the relaxed nature of a destination wedding.
Weddings in France offer so many stunning venues, fantastic food and the chance to photograph in beautiful light. It is wonderful that I get to be invited to be a part of their lives, experiencing their wedding day with them from the moment they start getting ready, the emotion of the ceremony, the excitement of greeting friends and family after they are married, the stolen moments of calm when it’s just the two of them and the hilarity of the speeches and dancing. I love every part of the day which is why it is so important to me that I am there all day to tell the whole story.
I think I have the best job in the world! I get to meet lovely people, some of which have remained friends and I feel so lucky every day. It really is a dream come true for me to be a photographer and do something I love every single day. Sometimes I have to pinch myself!
I am a wedding and portrait photographer based in London in the UK, but working worldwide as well. I work quietly to capture the candid moments as they happen, and I specialise in creating beautiful, timeless, relaxed photographs of the wedding day. My style is fine art photography, capturing the day using a mixture of reportage and beautiful portraiture. 400+ high resolution photos are included in the price, with rights to print and share as you wish. I offer all day coverage in my price. No hidden fees, no surprises.
I am delighted to offer no travel expenses on weddings booked on Saturday/Sunday 16/17th August 2014 nr Toulouse or in June/ July/ August 2015 in Loire Valley. The offer for my fine art wedding photography is on a first come first serve basis with limited availability, so if your wedding is over these dates in that area email me today email@example.com to find out availability and discuss your big day!“
Tarah offers her fine art wedding photography services throughout France so if you are planning a wedding in France outside of these dates, be sure to view more of Tarah’s work on her website.
