There’s always a spectacular view for every couple. The real wedding that we have the pleasure of sharing with you today is set at the romantic, “Way of the Cross” with magical views over the coast near Antibes. Wedding planning from Haute Wedding and Photography from Sylvain Bouzat really took this stylish weekend Cap d’Antibes wedding to another level!
So, let’s get this week off to a flying start, as we pass you over to Monica from Haute Wedding who will walk us through this stunning Cap d’antibes wedding.
The beautiful couple is the epitome of young love. Surrounded by their family and closest friends, they spent their wedding weekend at a historic hotel soaking in the finer things in life.
This seaside hotel on Mediterranean was the official first resort on the Cote d’Azur established in 1929. It is tucked into the cove of the Cap d’Antibes in Juan Les Pins, with beautiful views from every balcony. It is historically known because F. Scott Fitzgerald and his wife enjoyed luxurious summers here, at that time the venue was called the Villa Saint-Louis. Here he wrote “Tender is the Night” his second most famous novel. Then inspired by his French Riviera adventures at the Villa, he wrote the classic “The Great Gatsby” years later.
This wedding embodied the same high class, sophisticated style. The couple and their friends spent the wedding weekend making memories along the coast. A few days before the wedding, the bride bought a lacey white robe that she wore to lounge by the sea with her handsome groom.
The morning of the wedding, our all-time favorite Russian makeup and hair stylist enhanced the beauty of this already flawless bride and her bridesmaids with subtle natural highlights. All of her bridesmaids wore silky long white gowns, each with different cuts to accentuate their unique styles.
The ceremony was held on the upstairs terrace before heading down the tented cocktail hour with live music and chefs cooking French favorites.
The all white florals and dining decor were classic with modern touches like cascading greenery. The table plan was inspired by Kim Kardashian’s wedding. We hung glass bulbs in a twinkle light lined tree with guest names and table numbers inside, a fun artistic twist.
The bride’s gown might have been our favorite detail. The wedding gown was two pieces, the first was a lace overlay on top of a silky white gown. For the reception, Sophie completely changed her look in a matter of moments.
The mother of the groom had a secret up her sleeve. After the dinner reception came to a close and the toasts had been made, the DJ made a special announcement. He led everyone to the edge of the tent to watch a jaw-dropping fireworks display coordinated to music. The fireworks were set off from a floating barge so the timing had to be absolutely perfect. Moments like this still take our breath away.
A live sax player accompanied the DJ to really kick off the night. They danced and celebrated into the night and recovered the next morning with a Riviera view brunch.
