As we head towards the weekend we thought we would share with you this stylish French Riviera wedding inspiration shoot from Nicole and Noelle at Femina Photo + Design. The team had recently spent some time on the glorious French Riviera which inspired them to create this wonderful styled shoot.
The day took on a French country theme using bright floral designs by uber talented Fresh Designs Florist to create a contrast from the soft colour palette of the venue. Throw in a stylish nude lined Rue de Seine wedding dress paired with some beautiful Badgley Mischka heels and the team were onto a winner. Just check out the images from Femina as they guide us through this French Riviera wedding inspiration shoot…
“There is something incredibly inspiring about Southern French charm. Having spent a week on the French Riviera, we came back inspired and ready to dive into a fun styled shoot. As a preferred vendor of the Cairnwood Estate in Bryn Athyn, Pennsylvania, we knew it would be the perfect location for this shoot.”
“As wedding creatives, it’s easy to fall into a routine and focus on the everyday busyness of running a business. So styled shoots are a wonderful opportunity to team up with industry friendors (friends + vendors) and put all our creative energy into one fabulous shoot. Luckily for us, we teamed up with a floral mastermind, Sue Davis from Fresh Designs Florist and the talented video team behind Marie Marry Me. Of course, the results were nothing short of spectacular.”
“With a Southern French Country theme in mind, Sue used bright florals like oranges and yellows to stand out against the neutral peach tones of the old estate, while also incorporating mint green and black accents for a sophisticated touch. We wanted the overall theme to be reminiscent of vintage French beauty, with a modern twist of course. For our bride Brooke, we styled her in a stunning Rue de Seine illusion gown (provided by Lovely Bride dress salon in Philadelphia). The leafy floral accents of the dress perfectly matched the cascading bridal bouquet that Sue created.”
“Makeup and Hair Stylist, Keri McBride knew that she wanted to do something romantic but modern-chic with Brooke’s hair and makeup. So she opted for a whimsical updo with an added bit of gold sparkle and rose gold shadow for an utterly captivating and modern bridal look. Our groom Tony was styled in a sleek but simple black suit to compliment Brooke’s show-stopping look.”
With Springtime just right around the corner, we wanted to put an emphasis on al fresco dining and outdoor reception ideas. Using the beautiful façade of the grande Estate, Sue draped the entrance with cascading florals and greenery to create a dreamy sweetheart nook. To stay true to the vintage country vibe, she incorporated a variety of white, grey and mint green dinnerware and paired it with the current trend of rose gold silverware and drink-ware.”
“We kept with the rose gold theme in the invitation design as well. Nicole, Femina’s lead designer, chose to go with rose gold foil printing and a deckled edge for a bit of an added flair. Laura Marr Printing did a fabulous job bringing her stationery vision to life!”
“Finally, to wow guests Sue created a wine and cheese bar, complete with a towering cheese “cake”. Of course, no wedding would be complete without a dessert bar! We kept it simple with some favorite french sweets, such as macarons, tarts and puff pastries.”
