I hope that everyone is having a lovely Saturday?? Today I thought we would visit Cannes for Scenic Samedi, to finish of the red carpet series including how to incorporate red carpet into your wedding ideas, red carpet accessories with the new collection from Jo Barnes Vintage, red carpet beauty on a budget and red carpet foundation underwear.
Cannes is located on the French Riviera in the Alpes Maritime department in the South of France. The position of Cannes means that it benefits from a Mediterranean climate usually with 12 hours of sunshine a day and long and warm summers.
Promenade de la Croisette is a prominent road that stretches along the shore of the Mediterranean Sea in Cannes and is about 2 km long. The Croisette is known for the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès, where the Cannes Film Festival is held. Many expensive shops, restaurants, and hotels line the road and is the length of the coastline of Cannes.

All of the beaches in Cannes are sandy which is replenished at the beginning of each summer season. Many of the beaches along La Croisette have been snaffled by the luxury hotels meaning that you have to pay for them.
