Top of the week, lovelies! Let’s pump your inspiration with a styled shoot of Les Mariées Fox French wedding dress inspiration in Midi Pyrénées. French photographer Maud Caillet with the help of her backstage photographer Anna Pellicer snapped these beautiful shots that are so breathtaking.
This creative photo shoot is packed with emotions and stories straight from our photographer.
The videographer and I set up a crazy shooting close to the River Garonne in the south of France. I always had a strong relation with lights, textures and colors and I wanted to use all those things in a shot in order to immortalize them and bring the mood.
These elements are pretty intense and interesting to work with. The fog will bring you transparencies, a crazy game of lights but also the sensation you can touch it. It is creating a mood all by itself and that’s kind of magic. So the main idea was to work around a foggy mood and what best than the border of a river at the first lights of the day? I knew that spot with the small wood path and this incredible view since I’m a child. I grew up on a very small village in the south of Toulouse, not far from the Pyrénées which is full of beautiful spots as this one.
The set was set! In addition to this mood I also wanted to experience things in photography as in vidéo. I wanted to work a bit using the double exposure especially because I thought it would work tremendously with the mood I was whiling to create.
For that carry project I found a fabulous team who did an amazing job bringing to life the mood I had in mind. I had previously worked on some projects with Florence Renard, the creator behind Les Mariées Fox, and she was thrilled by the project and brought this beautiful dress.
Delicate. She instantly thought of Sarah Aime for the jewelry who lent me beautiful pieces which went perfectly with the dress.
Regarding the set up I met Gaëlle Chrétien Boyer just for this shoot and she was full of stunning ideas for the set.
I went into my parents house which is full of old and new beautiful details and we borrowed many of it to place into the scene. And there is where the amazing work of Pauline Delbos, jeux de Fleurs, enter the scenery. She had the perfect touch of colors we needed and brought an amazing romantic mood on set.
And what will be a wedding without an amazing paper? Lise Malmain from Ruban Collectif created a stationery perfectly in the mood of the shoot, you can feel the foggy in them.
Despite the crazy weather we had (it was raining cats and dogs outside) the team made it to the end in order to share the results with you today.
And don’t forget to watch the shoot captured by Maud here:
