Romantic French Riviera Sunset Wedding Reception

Hello lovelies, can you believe we are in the last week of June already? Summer is finally here and to celebrate we are off to the chic Côte d’Azur for a Romantic French Riviera Sunset Wedding inspired shoot, designed by The Wedding Planners Monaco.

In addition to The Wedding Planners Monaco, today’s styled shoot is full of wonderful suppliers who are renowned for their expertise and craft including Nice Plume who we have had the pleasure of working with on the FWS collaborations for TeamAmour.

We also spotted a rather beautiful velvet ring box within today’s stunning images taken by the very talented Demet Aziz of L’Atelier Chouette. The Mrs.Boxes are colorful limited edition, vintage inspired velvet heirloom ring boxes that make the perfect engagement and wedding gift, personalized with custom monograms.

We have known and admired Wayne Riley’s floral creations for a number of years, based on the Côte d’Azur and serving an international clientele, the creative team at Wayne Riley Flowers is the joining of like-minded creative and logistical forces from the worlds of music and haute-couture.

The Wedding Planners Monaco take us through this wonderful shoot: “”The session aimed to provide styling inspiration through this dreamy setting imagined for an intimate and casual, yet chic and sophisticated dinner party.”

“Our alfresco décor was set on a majestic jetty located on the idyllic blue shores of the French Riviera. The table setting at the edge of the jetty had the Mediterranean acting as the perfect backdrop.”

Wayne Riley Floral Designer for the shoot says: “This table-long centrepiece was inspired to reflect upon and mimic the beautiful and naturally-occurring transition of the Mediterranean Sea’s colours from the pure whites of the sea foam forming on the shores to the light blues in the middle blending into the deeper blues further away.”

“For the table, we tried to create a lush bed of flowers with a similarly transitioning colour scheme that began with the pure whites of elegant ranunculi and lilacs, continued with the ivory shades of anemones and spray roses, followed by the soft greens of hydrangeas with their generous petals signifying enduring grace and charm, and ended with the bolder and deeper greens of lovely garden roses and carnations to give contrast and accentuate the overall ombre effect.”

“The dramatic tablescape served as the focal point of our styled décor. The abundant blooms provided a neutral canvas to the luxuriously gold highlights of the table décor.”

“The celebratory vibes in our concept were complemented by lots of romantic touches and an elegant colour palette that featured a mix of neutral colours, including multiple shades of green, taupe and ivory together with the stylishness of the black and metallic accents that emphasized the luxurious look and feel of our concept.”

“Our concept drew inspiration from an eclectic mix of design elements that resulted from the dual characteristics of our geographical region being quintessentially glamorous but also blessed with incredible natural beauty. Such highly luxurious décor elements were juxtaposed against the strikingly natural, almost raw elements of the Mediterranean coastline.”

“The simple but exquisitely chic design of the bride’s bouquet consisted only of white lilacs, representing the simplicity of youthful innocence.”

“During the shoot itself and afterwards during the curation of the final images, our photographer tried to capture what lied at the heart of our design concept: The relaxed elegance and the modern luxury look and feel. The festive and beautifully uplifting outdoor ambience of our selected setting helped evoke genuinely positive emotions in our models, which will hopefully be also felt by all engaged couples who may feel inspired by these artistic elements that were portrayed in our session.”
