Wedding in Nice France at Le Negresco

It’s only the weekend and we have a wonderful real wedding in Nice France to share with you today! Filmed by the talented Airsnap (this wedding film in Grasse is still one of my favourites), they captured the spirit of Shola and Lekan’s Nigerian wedding full of music, love and prayer.

Shola is truly a beautiful bride in both her Maggie Sottero wedding dress and Elizabeth Divine reception dress, oozing glamour and radiating happiness. Be sure to watch the film which I promise will brighten up your day!

Loic from Airsnap takes us through the day: “How lucky we are!

We got the great opportunity to shoot a video wedding to Nice in the South of France, known as the French Riviera. Shola and Lekan are a couple who contacted us from London. In fact Shola immediately wanted us to have to film her wedding. She came especially to meet us for the first time and told us how her wedding will be gorgeous.

The preparations were just emotionally intense. Gospel songs were mixed with Nigerian prayers in the room of the bride. Since that day, it remains the most goosebump moment for me. While in another room of the Marriott Hotel in Nice, Lekan was preparing with his friends in a relaxed atmosphere.

They got married in a beautiful English church. Their reception venue (the Negresco) was the perfect place to welcome them as it is filled with so much character to it, almost like the couple themselves. We had a lot of fun at Shola and Lekan’s wedding and was such a pleasure shooting their wedding.”
