Happy Friday lovelies, exciting news from Real Bride Caroline – Wedding Venue Booked! For a lot of couples this is one of the first things you end up booking and one that gives you tremendous amounts of relief when you do. I’m happy to announce that the wedding location is booked and the date is fixed ! 🎉

It will be the 20th of June 2020 (I know it’s full of 20s 🤗) at Château de la Garde, you can have a closer look here Chateau La Garde Provence website

We had to wait 4 months before to finally be able to visit the Château because it is closed during the winter but it was totally worth it ! The property is beautiful with lots of trees, flowers, statues and even a fountain. It is all very elegant and they have a huge pool which will be perfect for the brunch on the day after the wedding. We have especially chosen this location because it offered the best plan B in case of wind/rain. Indeed they have a wonderful orangerie which allows you to have an outside feeling while still being inside. I have been dreaming of it since months after watching over and over pictures on Instagram and when I finally saw it in real, I haven’t been disappointed at all !

On top of that, Maxime the owner of the Château is really professional, full of advices and tips !

The only down side of this location is that we cannot sleep there however there is a villa just across the road that you can book for the weekend. But anyway, as I told my parents for which it was a big black point (and I value their opinion), we won’t be there for sleeping but to partyyy 🎉🎉🎉 and it was convincing enough 😉

One of the specificities of this location is that they gave exclusivity to one caterer and to one DJ company which should be both really good so I am really happy of this partnership and these are two things less to organize 😅

Now that the location was booked I have to admit that I could sleep better because it has been a big préoccupation. However, the rest has not lasted long. Indeed, now that I had a date for the D-Day, I was able finally able to start looking for the rest of the providers (photographer/videographer, decorator/florist, make-up artist/hair stylist, band for the cocktail, brunch caterer etc.). However I quickly realized that I had to hurry on that side of the organization as well because the most famous ones are already booked for 2020 ! 😱

So this is what I’m doing now, sending dozens of emails per day to all providers from the region and gathering their feedbacks and prices in some Excel sheets to be able to take a decision once all answers received.

Oh and one more challenge I have to share with you, I cannot find a Church who wants to marry us 🙈 They all claim that they have already a lot of inquiries and that they give priority to the people of their Parish. I really don’t know how to solve this situation as I desperately want to marry in the Church !

So as you can see I’m quite busy and lot of obstacles to contour but hopefully all will go well and I can give you some good news in my next article. So wish me luck and write to you soon🤞😘
