Hidden in the heart of the city, L’Hotel creates a wedding day like no other, in its own unique magical surroundings.
What could be more romantic than celebrating your wedding day in the ‘City of Love’. In the heart of Paris’ St Germain-des-Prés sits the capital’s smallest five star hotel. With Michelin starred menus, alluring interiors and an enchanting history, L’Hotel is a wedding venue like no other.
The day begins in one of the hotels 12 suites. Spacious as they are individual with sitting areas and large bathrooms, they’re the perfect place to prep and pamper for both the bride and groom. From the pink silk-lined walls of Reine Hortense to the classically masculine interiors of the Oscar Wilde suite (named after the famed author who lived there in the late 18th century), the rooms offer an air of flamboyance and quintessential charm.
The hotel’s opulent interiors don’t stop there though. Credited to legendary designer, Jacques Garcia, the hotel’s leopard print staircase, circular hall and marble pillared entrance make the most incredible backdrop for wedding photography. The bold colours and rich fabrics of the hotel’s interiors are offset by the cool, calm rooftops of Paris, offering the wedding party a new variety of photography.
Located around the corner from L’Hotel is the Abbey of Saint Germain-des-Prés. An architectural landmark and one of the oldest churches in Paris.
After the ceremony, guests are invited back to the hotel for Champagne and canapés in the chic, and undeniably suave, Le Bar. The meal itself is held in the seductive and oh-so alluring, Le Restaurant. Decorated with plush upholstered seating, green marblesque pillars and silk fabrics, its interiors captivate and entice. At the back, a small cobbled terrace sits with verdant living wall and ornate fountain.
The wedding meal is designed and created by Michelin Star Chef, Julien Montbabut. His menus are as distinctive and enticing as the restaurants surroundings, with food that is progressively modern, light and fresh. The set wedding menus are based on three, four and five courses, and can be completely tailored to suit your tastes. Continuing the allure of decadence, delicate and charming wedding cakes are created by Head Pastry Chef, Joana Thöny Montbabut.
Drawing a close to your special day the hotel’s largest suite, The Apartment, offers an idyllic honeymoon retreat. With private terrace and sweeping views of the city, it makes for the most romantic end to you special day and the perfect place to start a whole new adventure.
