Oh the weather outside is frightful, but the fire is so delightful ….and that is the inspiration behind my Log Cabin wedding ideas on the blog today. Christmas has been a time of mixed emotions for me, but this year I have my festive mojo back and I am a little giddy about the Christmas season.
One year, when I am supper organised, I want to rent a log cabin over in France and hold Christmas Day there. I am not a super cook as you avid Trulovers will know, so I don’t mind about Turkey and the trimmings, but there is something magical and almost whimsical about a winter in a log cabin in the snow.

So I am channeling my winter romantic notions into today’s wedding inspiration board and I have to say I had SO much fun putting this board together.
I have set today’s snowy log cabin wedding at La Cabane des Praz in the Chamonix Valley in France. Whilst during the summer months it has stunning views over the valley, in the winter months it provides a rustic and cozy winter hideaway for you and your wedding guests.
The catering for a winter cozy wedding can also be playful, from log cake stands to hot pie pops to warm up your guests.
Next weeks inspiration board will be on Christmas Eve, but I have a Christmassy twist up my sleeve.
