THE PROPOSAL

“Maxime proposed me during a weekend in Megeve, at home. I’ve been going to Megeve since I was very young, and he knows how much I care about this place because I feel particularly good. So we decided to go on a weekend together to extend the summer holidays and in fact he had planned everything and wanted to make his request at that time! It was obviously a moment full of emotions! We had a magical weekend, cut off from the world and on our little cloud.”

THE VENUE

“We wanted above all to create a simple and warm, friendly and family atmosphere. We are very attached to our families and our friends and we wanted to transcribe an atmosphere “like at home”. So we naturally chose to get married at La Bastide du Roy, in Antibes, which corresponded exactly to the atmosphere we wanted to convey: an old private property with a soul and a story. The advantage was also that we could organize all our wedding outside: from the cocktail to the evening, if the weather allowed us … Which fortunately was the case and reinforced the magic of this place. Our guests enjoyed a 100% outdoor wedding.”

THE ORGANIZATION

We were lucky to be surrounded during our preparations, especially our mothers and sisters who have invested a lot, each in their own way, in organizing our wedding. Maxime’s mother has a decoration rental company for the events and was able to guide us a lot thanks to her expertise, on among other all the logistics “decoration of tables, crockery, furniture” and the choice of our caterer (which we had a lot of compliment by our guests).

YOUR BEST MEMORY

“The most moving moment of Laurine is the moment when she entered the Church, in the arms of her father, her gaze fixed on that of Maxime who was waiting for him at the foot of the altar. When speaking of wedding, many brides imagine that moment; some make it a mountain of anxiety, others a great excitement. For her part, it was a mixture of feelings, but to be honest something she apprehended enormously. Then, finally, on D-Day, she was rarely as calm and peaceful as that day: she knew exactly why she was there and how intensely she had to live this moment. And if she were to hold back for a single moment, she would remember the moment when, when she entered the Church, she met for the first time the gaze of Maxime, moved, waiting for him. This moment was indescribable…”
