I am thrilled, excited and a little nervous to introduce to you French Wedding Style’s latest project – wedding book France! The Amour List is the first English destination wedding directory dedicated to France and it is the direct result from brides feedback about the resources that they are looking for to help them plan their weddings in France.
Those of you eagle-eyed readers might have noticed the ‘find your wedding suppliers’ icon on the right hand side, but no need to search for it anymore, The Amour List banner in the top right hand corner of the page is here to stay!
I know from all your questions that you send in to me, that you spend hours trawling the Internet looking for wedding suppliers in certain areas of France for your big day. Using The Amour List’s interactive map, you can search for wedding vendors in a specific department such as Dordogne or if you haven’t chosen a specific area you can also search by region such as Languedoc Roussillon.
Once in your chosen area wedding suppliers are divided into categories including wedding photography, florists, planning, hair and make up and videography to name a few. Click on each category icon and it will take you to a list of wedding suppliers who offer their services in that area.
When looking for wedding suppliers do keep in mind that France has a different landscape from UK, USA or Australia with many idyllic Chateaus in rural countryside, probably part of the appeal that has drawn you to them. Due to this, finding English speaking wedding suppliers right on the venue’s doorstep is not always possible. This is especially true if you are looking for something non traditional for France such as a Red London Bus or American style wedding cake maker.
Don’t worry your geographical knowledge of France doesn’t have to pass mastermind, in each region page there are links to the nearby regions for you to search to see if there is a wedding supplier available to fit your needs.
Planning a wedding in France can be a thrilling and complex experience. From the start of the blog, I not only wanted to create a community full of inspiration for planning a French wedding, but I wanted to provide an English speaking wedding resource with all the information a destination bride could need.
The launch of The Amour List is the culmination of 6 months work and marks the next exciting development for our growing community of brides. Whether planning a wedding in France or looking to add French style to your wedding day, between French Wedding Style and The Amour List there is something for everybody.
