Intimate wedding at Chateau de la Chevre d'Or

I have a hankering to visit the French Riviera as soon as possible and today’s real wedding is the perfect tonic with the stunning imagery by Greg Fink Photography and exquisite film by Pascal Délé Filmaker.

The team at Lavender & Rose take us through Lauren & Chas’ unique wedding celebrations: “Perched on the cliff side of Eze village, La Chèvre d’Or, was without a doubt the perfect venue at which to celebrate Lauren & Chas’ wedding this summer.

In an oh-so intimate setting, this couple, hailing from New York, opted to officialise their union on the French Riviera, alongside their respective parents.

Already having a special attachment to the south of France, Lauren & Chas decided to surprise their parents by announcing the wedding during lunch on the Chèvre d’Or terrace, due to take place that very afternoon in the Chateau gardens. We were therefore privileged enough to be part of our very first wedding announcement. It was a unique moment that we will long remember. What an emotion-filled moment!

And for such an occasion, we couldn’t wish for better than the Greg Finck (photographer) and Pascal Delé (videographer) duo to work with us as part of this adventure.

The ceremony took place away from prying eyes, beneath the dome of the Chèvre d’Or Chateau, commanding stunning views over Saint Jean Cap Ferrat and Villefranche sur Mer bay. Lauren & Chas uttered their vows, accompanied by a string quartet, before enjoying a sumptuous dinner together at the hotel’s Eden restaurant.

The table, which was especially decorated for the event, had been prepared with minute attention to detail, and the “surprise” menu, juxtaposed local specialities and seasonal produce. A wedding cake was awaiting them as they made their entrance, rounding off this truly unforgettable day.”
